“In order to build a CD player, you need a CD module, a user interface, a power supply unit, an audio converter board and a chassis.
The CD module itself is made of the mechanism including the optical laser unit, and a servo board. The best CD-dedicated audio module available nowadays is the CD-Pro2LF. The user interface usually includes a display device, an Infra-Red receiver, and a keyboard. A microcontroller with the appropriate firmware handles the user commands (Play, Next, Stop, etc…) and information to display on the one side, and drives the CD module on the other side.

The power supply unit provides the required stabilized DC voltages which are required for the module, as well as for the additional boards of the application.
Some of our packages propose some plug-and play solutions (including the user interface board and power supply unit) that will definitely reduce the development time and budget of your CD players.
We strongly encourage all our customers to visit the FAQ that may answer all the questions about our products and your audio projects.”
